I think your link up is a wonderful idea. We don't have kids yet, but I am already overwhelmed with wondering how in the world I will handle it once we do. Reading other's perspectives will be very helpful.

I am endlessly fascinated by this topic!

I am single, childless and 28 with a MOUND (I mean, a mortgage worth) of debt from med school, and I never (never say never, right? but seriously, I'll never) be faced with this decision for a variety of reasons. I love being a voyeur and learning about how people think, though! Plus, I'm a pretty pro-choice gal...I think we need to trust women to do whatever is right for them, on any number of individual decisions!

What a great linkup! I rarely comment because I usually read in Reader on my phone! Can we link up about the thought process even if we didn't make the same decision (i.e. talk about all the considerations to think about, even if I decided I wanted to keep working)? BTW, I love your blog and how you give such great perspective on motherhood.

Confession: I am a child-free 26 year old who loves her career and the thought of a SAHM link-up has my completely giddy. My husband and I are deep into this desicion now and I can't wait to read all of the different perspectives!

Look forward to Friday's post and the possibility of a working mom linky one day too, as I am of the working persuasion, but wholeheartedly agree that moms are way too hard on each other about all these life-altering decisions we're expected to make.
