FRAUDULENT: I'm clearly taking these photos not in an authentic GNO type situation, but in my wild and crazy . . . backyard. During the wee CEO's study hour (his daily "Curious George" dose). Sans nighttime hair & makeup, not to mention a cranberry vodka.
I'm also brazenly mixing metals here, as well as - gasp - wearing white jeans after Labor Day! I am indeed a rebel without a clue - at least the shoes are ok, right?
Ooh, shoes - we'll get to those in a sec. But first:

NOT FRAUDULENT: I do love a good GNO, and I did recently wear this outfit out to the creme de la GNO creme, a bachelorette night out during my recent San Diego adventure.
Once upon a twentysomething time, I had an entire "going out" wardrobe . . . naturally time, boring new spending priorities, and a certain Master P have changed that. My challenge now is finding a few pieces that work for the occasional GNO but can double for every day; I wear this shirt & these jeans in my Normal Mom Life, for example, and just swap in my Mom-o-Flage sandals and tote bag for these fancypants heels & clutch.
Speaking of - yes, I do have a wildly impractical shoe and clutch or three on hand. They don't come out often anymore, but oh, is it ever fun for me when they do:
outfit details: shirt (veronica m, from this san diego store) / jeans (old GAP, fall version here) / necklaces (fornash, here and here) / bamboo bracelet (old kenneth jay lane, similar here) / pearl bracelet (old j. crew, similar here) / clutch (old steve madden, I like this update) / watch (michael kors) / shoes (

Since you're wearing Schmanlentino, all other sins are forgiven :) But seriously, love this outfit!
Ooh, those shoes are fabulous! Seriously.
Suuuure you were sans cran vodka. Love that top! *Of course* it's from a shop in San Diego. Sigh.
Love the turquoise with the red top! Awesome color combo.

Um, you don't need makeup! Love the outfit :)
I love the whole look, especially the Fornash necklaces! Fornash is definitely new favorite accessory brand. And I'm pro white jeans post labor day :-)
Hey boo :) Yes, going out outfits are hard to find in my closet! I could definitely use a few blouse-y tops like this lovely one you are sporting. What size shoe are you again? I would gladly be your shoe guardian should you need to add that section to your will...
Love this outfit it's a great GNO and every day look- theShmalentino shoes really do it for me ! I don't have kids yet but the older I get I find it harder and harder to find "going out" clothes, they just aren't practical anymore- my 21 yr self would be disappointed in me
Those shoes.
Anyone wearing those shoes should beam triumphantly...
Love this outfit, especially those shoes!!!
Those shoes are on my List. Love them on you. You deserve to have a few special things in the closet that just make you happy.
