Oh dear. Oh my. My entire body just twitched. Why?? Because when we lived in OKC that State Fair was almost the same time, and I always ended up helping out The Consort at the teewee station's exhibit. Need I say more?

Jealous. I know the TX fair is legendary. I miss the NC fair :( We haven't tried one in GA, but I know it can't be the same.
How did I not know there was fried pineapple upside down cake?! I do not remember that last year--and let's be clear, I ate my way through the fair last year.
