Since I am obviously far too
1. Men who cook willingly & well. Mine in particular is, at this very moment, making a big Italian dinner all by his very ownself.
2. Surprise phone calls - remember that funny device that makes the odd ringing noise, the one I generally prefer to ignore?* - from faraway childhood friends.
*Not to be confused with my iPhone, for which I harbor unhealthy feelings of devotion and adoration.
3. Overcast Sundays perfect for napping on the couch & starting a new book:

So long as we're getting obnoxiously warm & fuzzy, I'm pulling out all of the shameless stops, including gratuitous puppy photos. Yeah, I know.
4. Witnessing an important moment in American history , regardless of how you or I (you might be surprised) or your mom's gardener's waxer voted.
5. Finding my go-to-jeans on sale.

Aaron was walking by and paused to gaze lovingly at HRH Pug.
Love your list Miss Pretty, especially the "gratuitous photo" of the Pugaliciousness. (It is impossible to have a photo of that nature that is gratuitous!) Not that we're opposed to the ShopBop steals, or Mister Wonderful cooking up a storm. It's just all that cuteness gazing out at us!
The 365 things is a goodly idea, at least for this camper. Thank you for sharing it.
Grins and giggles for your week ahead, and may the temp go above 15 sometime this century... on both sides of the Large Lake.

I have not seen Yee Mister Button Movie yet - its on my Count-Down to Oscar List but kinda at the bottom (hanging out there with The Wrestler... wonder who would win in a pudding wrestling match??). I was super hung-ho about it 'round Xmas time as I love me some F. Scott Fitzgerald but then the lukewarm reviews took me down a notch (not to mention the ADHD Fian cannot even watch college football for 2.5 hours straight, much less Brad Pitt). Now that its the official Oscar Darling, its back on the list but I'm wary...
As to the Battle of the K(C)ates... I gotta pull for Winslet as she (a) spells her name the awesome way, (b) has a child named Joe, (c) and uses generally adorable phrases like "gather" during acceptance speeches. Although Ms. Blanchett also tops my Girl Crush list... its a toughie. So long as Oh So Superior Angelina doesn't take home the little golden man... I'll be happy!
yeeeeeah that should be "GUNG-ho" in the third sentence there... don't know what "hung-ho" is but it sounds kinda dirrrrty. oops.
gotta love when a man can (and will) cook!
and to answer your question, the three of us are all sisters. Sal Gal is the oldest, Ali is the youngest and that leaves me squished in the middle. middle child syndrome at it's best right here!
the dog is SO cute!
I've got TWO of those (Lulu & Ellie) who are as we speak (or as I type) snoring loudly in the next room. PUGS ARE THE BEST!! The only downer is someone told me they don't shed and you'll learn quickly enough that oh yes they do! :(
HRH Pug is divine.
And, can someone cook me a nice dinner? My husband is convinced that heating up rice is a skill set that I don't have and therefore will do in an emergency. I let him believe it though--you never know when I will suddenly lose my rice cooking ability.
Oh the pug is too cute! I own one and her name is Victoria. They are just absolutely adorable:)
My husband wants a pug SO badly. But we don't have a position for a new dog available - well, at least not yet.
Also, so jealous regarding #1 - I dream about having that done for me...but I simply have to adjust my dreams. Although he does make grilled cheese and/or mac & cheese if I beg.
This is a fun idea and great list. I better find #1 cause I suck!
I love the gratitious puppy shot!
